Just know that in the days and weeks to come, I hope that the news and views presented here on Yes2Kwasi.com will strike up creative thinking on your part, whether its a post about a music video, or one about the conditions of many urban neighborhoods. Today, just relax, smile, and be observant of everything, especially a certain numerical tag :)

Interactive Floor Plan for “This Too Shall Pass” Video

0

Remember the goodness that is “This Too Shall Pass“, from Ok Go? They have now released an interactive floor plan showing how they made the contraptions fit into what is called a Rube Goldberg machine. One quick (Kwick?) fact: there were over 1000 ping pong balls used in just one sequence! Crazy! While you’re there, check out the credits! I hope they were compensated handsomely!

O, Where Art Thou Stuff???

0

If you’ve been around me for a while, you will know one of my weaknesses is clutter. Especially when a project is due, things get out of control. One could say that taking over 10 drafting tables when only ONE was assigned could signal a clutter problem. Maybe. Yet my shenanigans are nothing compared to what I’ve recently seen. I was recently introduced to a show called Hoarders. The two people featured had living spaces so full of STUFF that it was threatening to overwhelm their lives!

On the premier episode, Chris is a single mother of two, yet in their three bedroom condo, they all sleep on a lounge chair – the only clear space available. The father has made motions to take full custody of the children because of the lack of space! Dale is a artist who “collects found objects” (i.e. dumpster diving). He may lose his subsidy, and therefore his apartment, if he can’t make his place fire-safety compliant.

So, what’s the moral of the story? I reeeeally need to clean my room, and so do you!

Well, you should check out sites that pay people to cover technology, such as Gizmodo and Engadget. For a user’s perspective, check out a podcast from The End Usr, a tech blog run by a good friend of mine, Chris Barnes. With all that info, the only question is if you plan to purchase one! Let me know in the comments!
